The European Commission has granted the Collective of European Importers of Electric Bicycles a hearing, which took place half January. This hearing allowed the Collective to detail their response to the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy complaints and proceedings and to further develop their argumentation against possible measures.

The Collective was represented by 5 importers from Belgium, Denmark, Hungary, the Netherlands and UK. They were assisted by a lawyer from Squire Patton Boggs, the law firm that provides the Collective with legal assistance and by Annick Roetynck, LEVA-EU manager, who assists the Collective with the management of the Group.

The sample of 5 importers was chosen with a view to illustrate the diversity in the EU electric bicycle market.

Annick Roetynck

Annick is the Manager of LEVA-EU, with decades of experience in two-wheeled and light electric mobility.
