On 17 December, the European Commission Motorcycle Working Group met in Brussels. In this Working Group, the Commission consults with the member states and with stakeholders on the type-approval for L-category vehicles, which also include light electric vehicles. One of the stakeholders is AVERE, represented by AVERE LEV Policy Manager Annick Roetynck. The Motorcycle Working Group is currently in the process of amending and correcting the legal texts of the new type-approval procedure. AVERE has a briefing on this process.
