February 2021 – LEVA-EU member Stromer delivers the new ST2 model – Dedicated to Drive. This fast e-bike transforms your commute into an experience. The low-maintenance equipment is ideal for daily commuting. For the first time on a Stromer model, a durable carbon belt drive works together with a hub gear and the proven rear-wheel motor to supply powerful propulsion. Out of the traffic jam, onto your bike.

Powerful and comfortable travel
And you get in your exercise. The 750-watt rear-wheel motor dynamically accelerates the ST2 up to a speed of 45 km/h. The carbon belt drive is not only durable, free of chain oil and low maintenance, it also enables virtually silent cruising while the 5-speed hub gear with grip shift twist shifters can be shifted both under load and at a standstill. The large-volume 27.5 inch tires offer a safe grip on the road and a suspension fork and suspension seatpost can be configured as options from the factory for additional riding comfort. With a battery range of up to 120 kilometers (which can be optionally expanded to 180 km), the ST2 offers the next step in sustainable mobility. Whether on the way to work, to go shopping or in your free time: Leaving your car in the garage doesn’t mean you’re missing out – instead you are improving your quality of life and actively boosting your fitness and health.

Independent design and smart technology
When Stromer launched the ST2 in 2014, it was the first-ever fully connected Speed Pedelec. For model year 2021 the ST2 was completely redesigned from scratch, replacing the previous model. With this bike, the Swiss brand located near Bern is not just forging new paths in terms of technology. Like all Stromer models, the ST2 has a clean design that has already won a number of awards in combination with smart technology. A striking design element is the LED daylight, newly integrated into the head tube, that not only looks good but also improves visibility and therefore safety when riding on the road.

Fully connected
The ST2 also offers safety and comfort through its digital connectivity. This connects bike and rider over the free, cloud-based OMNI connect platform. OMNI connect works both over the touch display of the bike as well as via the OMNI app on your smartphone. It offers a number of options, from the triple anti-theft protection with GPS localization, Smartlock (automatic locking and unlocking), over-the-air updates and individual motor settings to calling up riding statistics. The battery is also removed “keylessly”. And in terms of the mobility of the future: absolutely “next level”.

The Stromer ST2 is available from February 2021 in the colors Royal Blue and Dark Grey with a sports frame (size M & L) and comfort frame (size M). Stromer offers its models with various options from the factory so that the bike can be adapted to the individual needs (suspension fork, suspension seatpost or battery range expandable to 180 km).
The advantages and handling characteristics of the ST2 are best experienced during a test ride. The ST2, as well as all other models, can be tested at a Stromer specialist dealer or at events.
