With 72 different models available in 2021, LEVA-EU member SCOTT and its eRIDE collection follows a comprehensive approach. From bikes to master urban jungles to gravity loving eRIDE MTBs, there’s something in it for every type of rider.

Electric bikes and urban mobility have been growing segments in recent years, but with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting people worldwide, that growth is now in overdrive. Commuters looking to escape crowded public transport or life in the city have responded with an increased demand for cycling infrastructure. This shift in mindsets has resulted in an unprecedented boom in commuting by bike. With more people discovering a greater sense of freedom as a bike commuter, this has also fueled a growing interest in the sport driven E-Bike segment. Consequently, there is an increasing demand for further diversification of product portfolios to match these newly baptized cyclists’ unique and often diverse expectations. 
With the customers’ needs in focus, diversification is the key to success.

SCOTT’s engineering team has focused on again growing the eRIDE segment, making the 2021 collection its deepest yet with a solution to every demand. No matter whether electrified extra power is needed to access remote places, to commute or for road spins, SCOTT is there with their expanded portfolio.

SCOTT wants its riders to focus on their journey without the worry of battery levels. SCOTT’s own Range Booster Technology gives them the opportunity to mount additional external batteries on many eRIDE models, including the SCOTT Addict, Silence, Axis EVO, Axis, Active, Genius, Strike, and Aspect eRIDE bikes. The Range Booster system is mounted either on the down tube or rear rack, ready to host an additional battery with up to 500 Wh providing up to 1125Wh in total, transforming each bike into a true endurance machine. Furthermore over ninety percent of SCOTT’s 2021 eRIDE range features a fully integrated battery ensuring a clean, modern and timeless design.

For the E-MTB segment, SCOTT’s eRIDE engineering team came up with a unique solution and developed a specific mount fixed on the bottle cage slots to carry a standard 500Wh battery. Urban models like the Silence eRIDE have the mount for additional batteries on their rack. For both versions of the Range Booster Technology, only one charger is needed.
