About

Promovec started being involved in the manufacturing of e-bikes in 2003, as we found out that there were no bikes on the market meeting the demand of the Danish customers at the time. Imported e-bikes were not able to cope with the Scandinavian climate, which places extreme demands on the robustness and operational reliability of the e-bikes.

Furthermore, the e-bikes did not have the right expression in regard to the design either. We saw a great potential in this situation and in 2007 Promovec developed the Danish e-bike starting from scratch. In 2008 Promovec launched an entirely new generation of e-bikes that changed the idea that e-bikes were heavy and clumsy and meant for seniors.

Since the beginning we have expanded into a company with sales all over Europe and in October 2020 we etasblished Promovec America Inc.

Since 2019 we have started producing batteries in Denmark for the entire ebike business with current sales all around the world.

Each battery is 100% QC tested for more than two hours and the entire production runs on renewable energy sources like windmills and solar energy.
