Key responsibility
- Responsible for the technical development of our electric vehicles (initially motorcycles).
- You have the responsibility of the powertrain design and must have an interest in future technologies and solutions.
- You will develop and build the system architecture for our own VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) including connectivity features, on-board diagnostics and other related tools.
- You will be leading a development team and plays in an area that has a lot of growth potential and is expected to be inventive and creative.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience from electrical and powertrain development within the automotive industry.
- Good understanding of EV software and hardware components.
- Understanding of torque control in an electric powertrain.
- Experience of working with CAN bus networks.
- Understanding in vehicle on-board diagnostics.
- Understanding in motorcycle dynamics.
- Familiar with test and validation processes.
- Experience with functional safety, hazard analysis, FMEA, V-design process etc.
- Ability to operate autonomously & execute on strategic priorities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Must have an interest in technologies and solutions.
Desired
- Experience with model-based development tools such as Matlab Simulink.
- Familiar with electronics measurement instruments (oscilloscope, data logger etc.).
- Genuine interest in motorcycles and driving.
