Key responsibility

  • Responsible for the technical development of our electric vehicles (initially motorcycles).
  • You have the responsibility of the powertrain design and must have an interest in future technologies and solutions.
  • You will develop and build the system architecture for our own VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) including connectivity features, on-board diagnostics and other related tools.
  • You will be leading a development team and plays in an area that has a lot of growth potential and is expected to be inventive and creative.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience from electrical and powertrain development within the automotive industry.
  • Good understanding of EV software and hardware components.
  • Understanding of torque control in an electric powertrain.
  • Experience of working with CAN bus networks.
  • Understanding in vehicle on-board diagnostics.
  • Understanding in motorcycle dynamics.
  • Familiar with test and validation processes.
  • Experience with functional safety, hazard analysis, FMEA, V-design process etc.
  • Ability to operate autonomously & execute on strategic priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Must have an interest in technologies and solutions.

Desired

  • Experience with model-based development tools such as Matlab Simulink.
  • Familiar with electronics measurement instruments (oscilloscope, data logger etc.).
  • Genuine interest in motorcycles and driving.
