At QWIC we’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to be the voice of the user in the design of our digital products and who will bring our platform to the next level. As our UX/UI Designer you know how to create, improve, and maintain a premium user experience for our clients.

At QWIC, we design, produce, and sell high-end, award-winning electric bicycles. We like to go for the extra mile to fuel the growth of the company and reach our mutual goal: to seduce people to get out of the car and onto an E-bike.

The team

Our Digital team creates a digital environment to maximize customer happiness and lifetime value, by delivering digital solutions for every on- and offline touchpoint in the journey of our customers. A very important step we are taking is to be more data driven so we can facilitate our customers in a better way. The team is growing fast so we are looking for someone who wants to helps build and shape the team!

The role

This role is a challenging and diverse mix between strategy, research, and design. As our UX/UI Designer you will be a senior designer for our customer dealer portal. In close collaboration with the product owner, development team and QA you decide the best software design strategy and what QWIC needs to outperform on this topic. You will do user experience research and help to set up strategies to deepen our understanding of our user’s behaviors and their needs.

In detail:

• You are responsible for developing our software design strategy;
• You will design our customer dealer portal (UX/UI) and coordinate user tests;
• You create interactive prototypes for testing and concept validation;
• Facilitate the strategic design and user experience decisions related to core and new features in our product roadmap;
• You work closely with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, researchers, product managers, designers and developers;
• The project will be around 4 to 6 months, 3-4 days a week;
• You collaborate with front-end developers and engineers during implementation phase to ensure the product meets design goals.

Who are you?

As our UX/UI Designer you play a key role in the set up of our software design strategy and the improvement of our user experience, therefor you have a hands-on mentality. As we aim to be more data driven, you’re a structured worker who has experience to work in a data driven way. In a rapidly growing and dynamic company as QWIC, you will feel comfortable to work in a small, focused team to complete critical milestones with tight deadlines.

Moreover, you are a pragmatic self-starter who will eagerly research and investigate all facets to improve our platforms. While working together with other departments, you’re a good communicator. Last but not least, you share our dream to create a sustainable world full of e-bikes!

Furthermore:

• You have 5+ years experience in UX/UI design;
• You have a strong understanding of B2B commerce;
• You have knowledge of tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe cc, Principle, InVision and Framer;
• You have knowledge of CSS
• You have technical / hands on experience in testing methodologies, subsystems, usability and accessibility.
• You have some experience with Salesforce
