We’re looking for a talented and experienced Senior UI-UX Designer to join our speed-pedelecs company. As a pioneer in the e-bike technology, we are dedicated to change urban mobility through integrated design, full connectivity, outstanding ride qualities and Swiss engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences for our mobile application, embedded system, and website and web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing specialists, to understand business goals and user needs.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept development to delivering high-fidelity designs and prototypes for mobile, embedded system, and website and web-based platforms.
• Conduct user research to identify needs, pain points, and preferences, translating the insights into user-centric design decisions.
• Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and functionality.
• Create visually appealing and intuitive interface designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.
• Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs continuously.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of UX design elements into the final product, maintaining consistency across platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UI-UX design, and proactively suggest innovative ideas to enhance user engagement, optimise experience and keep the digital designs interesting and engaging for the users.
• Champion user-centered design principles within the organization, consistently advocating for the user throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a UI-UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing successful mobile, embedded systems, and website design projects.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
• Solid knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and design systems.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS) and their impact on UI-UX design would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Curious and passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and staying updated with design trends and emerging technologies.
