Our Recruitment team’s mission is to grow our community of VanMoofers by finding and hiring the most passionate and skilled people. Our recruitment team takes care of hiring for our HQs based in Amsterdam and Taipei as well as our brand stores, service hubs & warehouses across the globe. We’re now looking for a highly motivated people person to help us grow our retail, service, and warehouse teams.

You’ll be the vital link between our teams on the ground, and our candidates. A day might start with opening up two new roles in Germany. First up: bike mechanics! We have a novel way of hiring them and do not rely on resumes. We invite everyone who has the right motivation for a trial day, no questions asked. It will be your task to open the role, make sure the hiring manager’s calendar is synced, the role is advertised on the right channels, and make sure we’re putting enough people through to reach our hiring goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Build rapport with our Hub and Warehouse Managers and make sure they are able to hire their next Bike Doctors, Warehouse Workers, and Sales Associates.
  • Engage with our brilliant candidates on time and with pinpoint accuracy. We strive for a quick but high-quality process.
  • Work closely with vendors, job boards, and other acquisition channels to make sure the candidate pipelines are performing.
  • Close candidates if they pass their trial day and make them excited about joining the two-wheeled revolution.
  • Provide an excellent journey for all people involved in the hiring process (internally and externally).
  • You’ll become an expert recruiter and interviewer, and will be sharing your know-how with your hiring managers through regular check-ins and training sessions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Passion for people, even though we process tens of thousands of applicants per year, we want everybody to have a great experience.
  • You bring a positive and solution-oriented mindset and like to use automation to solve (recruitment) problems.
  • You are tech-savvy. You know about Miro, Airtable & Loom and how it can help you achieve your goals.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English language skills – bonus points for a second language.
  • Experience working with gSuite products (Gmail, Drive, Sheets).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, feedback & data-driven environment.
  • Novel ideas on where to advertise & promote our jobs.

Extremely nice to have

  • You already have experience with an Applicant Tracking System (we use Fountain & Ashby).
  • You have some recruitment experience and/or proven experience working in a customer-facing role.
