Cake is a Swedish company with a clear mission to inspire towards a zero-emission society, by combining excitement and responsibility in its development of light, quiet, and clean high-performance electric motorcycles and mopeds. About the role

We are looking for an E-commerce Product Owner who has a proven track record in building the backbone of a successful online business. As product owner you will be joining us at an exciting early stage.

You will play a key role and get the opportunity to build and develop CAKE’s future e-commerce platform and online customer experience. As our focus is to sell directly to end consumers, both B2C and B2B, our e-commerce and the team behind will be the absolute core of our business.

You will be reporting directly to our Global Head of Online and be a part of the online and sales team.

Key responsibilities:

• Play a key role in defining our future online strategy and roadmap for CAKE’s online business together with the Global Head of Online.
• Driving the implementation of our future online strategy, setting objectives and KPIs.
• Managing all the technical aspects of our website and all the connected systems (eg. E-commerce platform, CMS, CRM, payments) and being responsible for the technical backlog. You will be leading the day-to-day development, prioritizing projects and development tickets based on user needs, business value and overall strategy.
• Working together with key stakeholders across the company, such as, the Global Head of Online, in creating prerequisites to maximize the customer experience and sales efficiency.
• Responsible for communication and project management with both internal team, stakeholders, as well as external partners.
• Be part of building and setting up CAKE’s future online organization.

About you

Your experience:

• 5+ years of experience working as a product owner at a e-commerce or tech company
• A degree in engineering, economics or equivalent practical experience
• Strong technical background and experience working directly with developers and similar stakeholders
• Proven track record in creating state-of-the-art customer experience
• Creative and strategic thinking in a tech environment
• Fluent in writing and speaking English. Swedish and other languages is a plus
