We are currently a team located in Stavanger/ Norway and the team consists of experienced engineers and creative enthusiasts supported by business-oriented persons. The Podbike® FRIKAR® e-bike has been developed with the aim of bridging the gaps between cars and bikes by combining the comfort and safety of a car and the benefits of cycling.

The Manufacturing and supply chain supervisor will take a central role in ensuring Podbike’s production is operating in an optimum manner without disruption.

The position will report to the Head of Engineering.

The Manufacturing and supply chain supervisor is responsible for the team’s delivery in terms of execution and quality.Responsibilities & Tasks

• Production planning

1. Coordinate production operations wrt. material, labour and equipment required for production
2. Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality
3. Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met

• Supply chain planning

1. Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules
2. Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labour required for production
3. Issue and follow up on purchase orders

• Optimise the manufacturing workflow
• Implement production quality traceability
• Keep up to date manufacturing file
• Sourcing

Background

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field is preferred. Experience may compensate for lack of formal education
• Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred
• Knowledge of quality management
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and logistics
