We’re on the lookout for a Learning and Development Program Manager to take responsibility for designing and implementing a curriculum which is aligned with the organization’s needs, as well as tailored to individual’s ambitions. You’ll use your understanding of business needs and priorities to guide our strategy for all training programs.

As our Learning and Development Program Manager you’ll be responsible for building a world-class program from the ground up. The training needs across the Customer Support team, the Sales team, and Bike Service team differ – yet we see a lively opportunity to cross-pollinate learning and understanding of these functions. The 80+ Customer Support agents ensure clear and timely communication with our riders, the 120+ Sales Assistants provide a great customer experience in our physical locations, and our 200+ Bike Doctor network lies at the core of VanMoof and keeps our wheels spinning. We’re dedicated to building and developing these innovative and hard-working teams and you’ll help us to both help them grow in their current role, as well as beyond their role, and onto new internal opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll lead the design of our in-house training programs and drive the life cycle of training – from analyzing training needs, building content, all the way to delivery.
  • You’ll lead the map and implementation of growth opportunities within VanMoof.
  • You’ll decide on appropriate learning methodologies, develop learning materials, and align content with learning objectives.
  • You’ll develop a team of Trainers, and make sure they’re equipped to transfer world-class capability to our Customer Support Agents, Sales Assistants, and Bike Doctors worldwide.
  • You’ll measure the impact of onboarding and training programs on the teams and on the wider company through key metrics like performance, quality, and retention.
  • You’ll work with people around the world and across VanMoof, such as subject matter authorities, engineering leaders, business partners, and trainers.
  • You’ll deliver under tight deadlines with minimal direction in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and accountability is key.
  • You’ll work closely with the Global Head of Learning and Development and partner in development and design of our Learning Experience Platform.
  • You’ll manage Learning and Development Projects that support our local community in partnership with VanMoof.

What you’ll bring:

  • You have at least three years of Learning and Development experience and you know your way around operations, sales and technical training.
  • You have experience leading onboarding programs and developing materials for new employees.
  • You are able to analyze and assess training needs of our experienced employees and provide fun, effective and bespoke responses to that need.
  • You have experience in managing a team.
  • You have excellent presentation, facilitation, and classroom delivery skills.
  • You love to manage several projects at once and know how to get it done.
  • You’re a fast learner, highly motivated and have strong initiative.
  • You master a diverse set of Learning and Development tools and techniques, and are eager to expand your toolbox every day.
  • You stay focused in fast-paced environments and deliver under pressure.
  • You have a strong radar for cultural differences and a positive and motivational approach to work.
