Research and Innovation

  • Be part of the Research and Innovation team and support our product development teams
  • Work directly with Product Managers, Product Engineers, Designers and Factories
  • Research on specific topics and new technologies throughout the entire Scott product range (to be specified)
  • Setup, coordinate and follow planning / milestones for the projects
  • Follow state of the art research in sports technology
  • Define innovation directions together with different product groups
  • Lead research on specific topics
  • Summarize and present current state of research
  • Propose innovative concepts on defined topics
  • Validate research projects and concepts with Engineering and Product Management teams
  • Coordinate the handover of concepts to product development
  • Network with various research partners including laboratories, universities and other research entities
  • Research new technologies

Profile description:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Sports Engineering or Sports Science, preferably with a background in outdoor sports
  • Knowledge in biomechanics, testing and/or field test methods for sport equipment
  • Ability to analyse and process data (knowledge in Python or Matlab is a plus)
  • Experience in research and innovation methods are an advantage
  • High affinity to work on various projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, precisely and prioritize work accordingly
  • Reliable and proactive team player
  • Fluent in Business English, knowledge of any other language is an advantage
