We’re looking for an experienced and innovative PR leader to direct the development and implementation of our global PR strategy. This role will report directly to the CMO and will be responsible for building and leading the PR team, owning the PR budget, and advancing the premium status of the VanMoof brand.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll develop and lead the execution of VanMoof’s global PR strategy to drive brand awareness, affinity, and customer acquisition.
  • You’ll lead the PR team and drive team performance to achieve key goals.
  • You’ll set PR targets and make sure that they are achieved through creative ideation, media outreach, brand partnerships, and other tactics.
  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, product marketing, and social media to make sure our messaging is consistent across all channels.
  • You’ll develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and secure high-impact placements across global publications.
  • You’ll lead and manage all brand partnerships and media relations, ensuring alignment with VanMoof’s brand values and mission.
  • You’ll manage and evaluate PR agencies and contractors to ensure that work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
  • You’ll create and manage PR budgets, ensuring maximum ROI and that expenses are kept within budget.
  • You’ll track and analyze PR performance metrics and KPIs, reporting insights and progress to the CMO and executive team.

What you’ll bring:

  • You have over 10 years of experience driven brand awareness through PR and communications, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing global PR strategies.
  • You have exceptional servant leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to build, lead, and develop PR & Comms teams.
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in crafting compelling narratives and media pitches.
  • You have existing strong media relationships and experience in securing high-impact media placements.
  • You have the ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and agencies, including experience planning, negotiating and executing media- and brand partnerships.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re fluent in English – additional language skills are a plus.
