CIXI is an active mobility startup developing products ranging from the Vigoz -an active vehicle that can travel up to 120km/h- to chainless pedaling systems (PERS). We want to enable people to be active during their daily trips and reduce their environmental footprint.

By joining us as a Field application engineer, you will be the main technical interface for our B2B customers regarding the integration of our pedaling system into their projects. In collaboration with several teams (integration, sourcing, validation, electronics, and software), you will provide appropriate solutions to meet customer needs and coordinate the technical relationship with the client.

Your responsabilities:

• In collaboration with sales and customer relationship teams: analyze and assess customer needs
• Prepare a technical proposal to answer the customer needs using CIXI solutions: choice of propulsion, battery, and pedaling system software configuration
• Manage the customer application project: planning, deliverable, progress tracking
• For some projects, participate in building, maintaining, and improving of prototypes
• Enhance CIXI’s technical documentation, especially for customer use

Your profile :

• You have a Master degree in engineering, with a general/mechanical engineering background 
• You have experience with managing an engineering project with direct client interaction
• You have some knowledge of electrical and electronic concepts
• You are able to think with your hands and comfortable working in a workshop 
• You are proactive in customer relationships
• You demonstrate curiosity and have good organizational skills
• You are capable of working in English
• Knowledge of the cycling industry is a plus
