Madly growing and located in Utrecht, we seek a part-time or full-time EU Retail Specialist to join our team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are looking to support a dynamic team, read on.

As a Retail Specialist, you will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to every current and potential Rad Power Bikes customer in-store at our showroom. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are excited about providing hands-on support in a dynamic environment for one of the fastest-growing companies in the ebike industry. Why You’re Rad (about you):
  • Experience working in a retail or showroom role in a technical sales environment
  • Solid bike riding skills & a thorough understanding of road safety
  • A background in supporting customers & answering questions in order to achieve sales goals 
  • A learning mentality and ability to assimilate & retain information quickly 
  • Confident explaining complex topics and a passion for teaching others with the ability to do so in a variety of ways 
  • Desire to work cross-functionally, with teammates from a variety of different teams
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours/day and lift up to 25 kg regularly
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Excellent in-person verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities throughout the day in a dynamic/active environment
You get bonus points for:
  • Retail experience in the bike industry
  • Knowledge of bikes, especially with ebikes
  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Making a world-class 1st impression with our customers in-person and over the phone, communicating product information in a clear, professional, and accurate manner
  • Advocating internally for our customers by identifying trends and suggesting improvements to processes, policies, and products
  • Working directly with our team of professional Ebike Mechanics to ensure that all customer needs are met
  • Ensuring inventory control through complete and accurate merchandise/supply restocking and helping maintain and improve the organization & setup of our Retail facility
  • Overseeing daily test rides and performing pre-sale customer support via email, phone, social, and in-person including answering questions, detailing products, and above all, ensuring that all potential customers are left with a fantastic experience
  • Additional duties and overtime as required
