As an Assistant Hub Manager, you’ll be jumping in at the deep end, joining our growing Berlin team to drive sales and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Our hubs are more than just bike shops, so you’ll need to offer expert advice to new and returning customers, manage Bike Doctor repairs, train colleagues, and make sure everything looks and feels 100% on-brand.

Together with the Hub Manager you’ll lead the team through the day-to-day operations. Alongside sales, you’ll handle, service, repairs, remote advice, aftercare and rider troubleshooting, without compromising on the VanMoof customer experience. You’ll also need to make sure the brand store team always has enough supplies and inventory to run smooth operations at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Co-manage our Berlin team to make sure the VanMoof Hub becomes the strongest hub out there
• Become a walking encyclopedia of all things VanMoof, so you can find the perfect bike for every customer.
• Take charge of the look and feel of the entire store.
• Grow the VanMoof brand in Berlin and beyond, with a focus on custom test rides, collaborations, events, and more.
• Train and motivate the team in the best ways to assist customers.
• Manage store inventories, so everyone has everything they need to do the best job possible.
• Anticipate and troubleshoot in-store issues before they arise.
• Understand the local market and develop ideas to surprise and delight our riders.
• Work closely with our Global Support teams to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the retail environment.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• World-class written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• The energy to bounce around on your feet all day without losing an ounce of positivity.
• Bonus points if you already have a passion for cycling – but it’s not a deal-breaker.
