2 Seas is a European subsidy programme aimed at stimulating growth and improving cohesion through cooperation in UK, Dutch, Belgian and French regions around the Channel and the North Sea. It is part of the European Cohesion Policy, which should bring all regions in Europe to a higher level of smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive growth.

The 2 Seas programme for the period 2014 to 2020 was launched and presented end of last year and sets out 4 priorities. One of the priorities are “low carbon technologies” which opens possibilities in the field of electric mobility. The first call for projects has been launched on 6 January and Concept Notes for project proposals should be submitted by 16 February.
