The IBDC is calling for innovators from all over the world to participate in its contest that celebrates groundbreaking bicycle industry concepts and designs.
LEVA-EU member The Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center has been holding the International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) in Taiwan, an established bicycle industry hub, for almost thirty years, establishing a platform for bicycle designers worldwide to showcase their innovations to the industry.
The theme of the upcoming edition of the 26th IBDC is “Intelligence. Sustainability. Joyful Lifestyle”, inviting creative cycling concepts and design submissions that combine intelligent technologies, sustainable ideas and joyful everyday experiences. The IBDC will award NT$200,000 (approximately €5,868) to its Gold Award Winner of the competition.

Entry process
The IBDC is offering an early bird discount to applicants until September 30, with applications being accepted until October 15 2025.
