Granville is ready for 2025
Comments Off on Granville is ready for 2025Belgian e-bike brand and LEVA-EU member Granville looks forward to using its extensive innovative history to inspire dealers and end-users for this new cycling season.
Granville has long been building on its craftmanship since it was founded by Frans Huygens in 1928. Today, the company is now headed by his grandson Johan Huygens, with its development, assembly and lacquers being managed entirely in-house in Kortenberg in Belgium. “Dutch retailers greatly appreciate that history“, says sales manager for Granville NL, Jeroen Van Zanten. Since 2023, Granville has been building on a consistent dealer network that’s committed to quality and service in the Netherlands.
Dealers’ confidence in Granville bikes
“And that works! After the launch, we signed a large number of dealers, because they also believe in the bikes. Despite the current market situation, we have a stable dealer network that is growing further and further,” explains Van Zanten. Granville states that there’s space for retailers and brands to co-operate together well without price deterioration or obligations.
Continued innovation
Granville experienced an rebrand last summer with a new logo, updated font and the inclusion of a maple leaf that symbolizes a nod to Canadian roots, to appeal better to today’s consumers. “One of the most important goals for 2025 is safety. Of course on all fronts, but certainly in terms of visibility. We have found a technology that allows us to illuminate the logo on the frame. This not only makes you more visible, but we also show that we continue to innovate,” states Mias Boghe, marketing manager SCOTT Sportech Benelux.
Granville’s new collection boasts a premium, comfort and sporty line. Furthermore, Granville is expanding with the introduction of the E-Urban Longtail which can be used by both businesses and individuals. “In this way, we try to give a better interpretation to the store assortment. Moreover, it fits very well with the demand and needs that are now in the market. Granville is moving nicely with the times,” says Van Zanten.
Granville enhances efficiency with new service platform
The brand has launched a self-developed online service platform for dealers to enable a fast and efficient service with bicycle QR codes. After the QR code on each bike is scanned, its chassis number is registered, thus enabling an overview of all parts of the relevant bike to be visible, including its color codes. The service also allows necessary parts to be ordered and warranty requests to be started simply from the push of a button.
In its interview with Nieuwsfiets, the brand also communicated that it looks forward to focusing on long-term partnerships with dealers, with flexibility taking a core focus. The full interview can be accessed here.
