  1. Invitation to “EVS 32, A world of E MOTION”, in Lyon (F)

Sustainable mobility is a major concern for all industrial players and public authorities. It affects both our lifestyles and our economy, and it involves major changes, such as electrification, connectivity and driverless vehicles. To prepare for these changes, it is essential to fully understand how new technology will be used in future mobility, together with the related business models and issues surrounding public acceptance.

At the international EVS (Electric Vehicles Symposium) all these issues will be addressed. The various components of electric mobility will be on display: from markets to vehicle battery technology (hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell); from motorcycles to trucks, and from charging facilities to related services and public policy.

The EVS 32 Organising Committee warmly invites light electric vehicle (LEV) companies to become actively involved in this international event, as a sponsor, exhibitor or participant. The Symposium consists of a scientific congress with a reading committee as well as an exhibition with Ride and Drive. This is an excellent opportunity for LEV companies to promote their products and services, to learn more about the latest technology and developments and to test new technology in real conditions during vehicle tests.

EVS 32 will take place from 19 May to 22 May 2019 in Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy and a city that is highly involved in the development of electric mobility. The region is home to research centres, innovation clusters and manufacturers of electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells and driverless vehicles. The symposium will be held at the Eurexpo Congress Center situated east of Lyon, between the train station and the airport; an ideal location for driving test vehicles both in urban environments and on main roads and motorways. The exhibition, conference rooms and amphitheater are all located in Hall 6, adjacent to the car park from where test vehicles can be driven.

LEVA-EU and EVS32 have set a cooperation to attract LEV-companies to exhibit in the Ride and Drive zone at very interesting rates.
    – Companies with light vehicles such as scooters, monowheels, hoverboards, … can exhibit with a stand of 6 m² for € 800
    – Companies with electric 2-wheelers can exhibit with a stand of 9 m² for € 900
    – Companies with electric motorcycles can exhibit with a stand of 9 m² for € 1,000
    – Companies with electric quadrimobiles can exhibit with 6 m² reception + space for up to 3 vehicles for € 1,500
