Vyber ANWB E-bike test results

The LEVA-EU member has announced that its newest model, the Vyber Xcitemnt scored 8.2 in the renowned Dutch ANWB E-bike test, with its pedal assistance and sleek finish being standout highlights.

The e-bike brand stated that it was delighted to have received good feedback from the ANWB, especially about the Xcitemnt’s driving comfort, safety and sleek finish.

With over 5 million members, The Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB assists on the road in regards to mobility and tourism. As part of its offering, it regularly tests bicycles to support its audience in finding the right model for their needs.

ANWB’s comprehensive testing methods

It thoroughly evaluates bikes, from outdoor use and in a test lab, which includes using a dynamometer, as well as braking and stability tests. The bikes are tested outside for two days, with riders participating in a varied 5.3 kilometre loop with several challenging inclines. The ANWB also marks each bike on over 100 technical points.

The evaluation includes the following component categories:
Flat terrain support, uphill support, range, brakes, lighting, stability, comfort & ergonomics, construction & parts, display & controls, driving characteristics, and child seat capability (not rated but tested).

ANWB’s rating of Xcitemnt

ANWB published the following statement about Vyber’s newest e-bike:

“The best-finished bike (score 8.2, €3,499 with 600 Wh battery) in the test is characterised by virtually perfect welding and premium components. Think of a very powerful headlight, daytime running lights, and even a brake light. The assistance is also very pleasant and feels natural. You can feel the weight too: this bike weighs no less than 32.5 kg (including battery).”

In terms of individual test component categories, it scored highest on lighting with a top score of 10, followed by its brakes and stability scoring 9, and flat terrain support receiving a mark of 8.5.
