The international specialty bicycle trade fair SPEZI is set to begin a new chapter as it relocates from Lauchringen to Freiburg.

Following a vibrant farewell celebration in Lauchringen, organizers have confirmed that the next edition of the event will take place at the Freiburg im Breisgau Exhibition Center on April 25 and 26, 2026.

The move marks a strategic shift to a city known for its strong cycling culture and accessibility. Freiburg offers improved transport connections, making it easier for visitors from across the region and beyond to attend – even without a car. The new venue also provides expanded exhibition space, opening up more possibilities for modern trade fair formats and interactive displays.

While the location is changing, the core identity of SPEZI remains intact. Organisers are committed to preserving the event’s distinctive atmosphere, focus on hands-on experiences, and close engagement with attendees as the fair settles into its new home in Freiburg.
