Xiaomi unveils new electric scooter

The LEVA-EU member has announced the arrival of its Electric Scooter 6 Lite, positioned below the Scooter 6 and 6 Max in the Electric Scooter 6 line-up. The 6 Lite has been designed for short city commutes and urban travel.

The Electric Scooter 6 Lite is powered by a Hall-effect brushless motor delivering 300W continuous power and 500W peak output. It can reach a top speed of 25 km/h and climb inclines of up to 15%.

The 216 Wh battery provides a range of 25 km in Standard mode at 15 km/h, or approximately 20 km in Sport mode at full speed.

Suspension, tires, and braking

For improved ride comfort, the scooter features 25 mm dual-spring front suspension and 10-inch pneumatic tires, which help it to handle uneven road surfaces. Braking is managed by a front drum brake and a rear E-ABS system.

Safety is enhanced with a 2.5W front headlight that illuminates up to 15 meters ahead, while the rear brake light flashes during braking.

Riding modes and connectivity

The scooter offers three speed modes: Pedestrian at 6 km/h, Standard at 15 km/h, and Sport at 25 km/h. A digital display between the handlebars shows speed, riding mode, and battery level.

When connected to the Xiaomi Home app, riders can access additional features, including range monitoring, battery status, trip history, tire pressure, motor lock, and energy recovery adjustment.

Build, weight, and protection

Constructed from high-strength carbon structural steel, the frame supports a weight of up to 100 kg. The scooter weighs 18.1 kg and is suitable for riders between 140 cm and 200 cm tall, aged 16+.

The scooter features IPX4 water resistance for the body and IPX6 for the battery, and has folding dimensions of 1140 x 512 x 555 mm.

The pricing for the Electric Scooter 6 Lite has not yet been announced by Xiaomi.
