Eurogia2030 call for submissions

Eurogia, a EUREKA Cluster for Low-Carbon Energy Technologies, has reaffirmed its leadership in the energy sector by launching a new initiative aimed at contributing to global carbon neutrality targets through applied research and innovation, supporting environmental sustainability, climate change mitigation, and long-term economic growth.

It is aiming to provide Low Carbon Technologies R&D solutions for challenges including:

• Carbon-free energy supply,
• Green mobility and Smart cities,
• Smarter housings and constructions,
• Bio resources and environment.

Eurogia states that the technologies needed to tackle these challenges are rapidly growing within a large market and an ever-growing societal concern. It notes that extensive knowledge, as well as leadership is essential for developing and applying them, are essential for the industry to maintain its leadership for multiple applications, or to take advantage of new opportunities.

The Eurogia2030 programme has been designed to encourage activity in this significant area, through creating trans-national collaborative projects in applications to support economic growth and do good to society as a whole.

Eurogia2030 is inviting participants to submit applied research and innovation project listed within the Eurogia scope which can be found here: eurogia2030-technology-roadmap

The blue table provides a non-exclusive list of potential application areas for the Call but other relevant topics will also be welcomed.

Relevant enabling technologies expected to have an important role include: digitalization, IoT, AI, blockchains, cyber-security, communication, 5G/6G, drones, sensors, new materials, asset management, recycling, etc. – all expected to play an important role.
