The LEVA-EU member has announced a partnership with the UK retailer, which will consist of Skarper’s presence in 19 of its stores across England, Scotland and Wales.

Numerous Leisure Lakes stores will be used as demonstration centres, offering riders first-hand experience of the click-on electric assist as a representation of the emerging Click-On E-bike category.

The latest news follows the e-bike conversion brand’s partnership announcement with ZyroFisher, and an industry event at Red Bull headquarters, where six British bike manufacturers “adopted Skarper’s DiskDrive® platform as the Third Drive System for cycling.”

Skarper’s CEO Ean Brown has stated the following about the new partner announcement:

Skarper’s system offers a new solution for non electric bike riders, with the flexibility to change it into an e-bike when it’s convenient to them. The 4.5 kg removable system brings premium electric bike performance (76 Nm torque) while preserving the bike underneath.
