The LEVA-EU member’s tandem played a significant role in the wedding between two Santos riders, who opted for a unique twist on tradition when they tied the knot in June. Instead of arriving in a classic wedding car, the couple surprised their guests by making their entrance on a Double Travel tandem bicycle, provided by Santos Bikes.

The idea began when the pair approached the Dutch bicycle brand with an unusual request: the loan of a tandem for their wedding day. Santos quickly agreed, offering their distinctive Double Travel model.

What makes this tandem particularly special is its innovative design. Unlike most tandems, it features a double belt drive instead of a chain. This not only eliminates the risk of grease stains on wedding attire but also provides a smooth, comfortable ride.

The newlyweds’ choice combined practicality with a personal passion, turning their wedding transport into a memorable symbol of their shared love of cycling.
