The LEVA-EU member has unveiled a new variant of its professional cargo solution: the Santos Cargo Box 2. Developed specifically for demanding, daily use in urban logistics, the new box is designed with durability, functionality, and sustainability at its core.

Building on the success of the original model, this updated version is mounted on Santos’ robust, low-maintenance flatbed frame and draws inspiration from the tried-and-tested Deutsche Post cargo box.

Engineered for performance and sustainability

The Cargo Box 2 offers a generous 500 litres of cargo space, housed in a lightweight, recyclable honeycomb polypropylene structure. The material provides high strength while remaining moisture-resistant and offering a long service life.

Impact-prone areas of the box are reinforced with stainless steel, enhancing durability for intensive daily use. The interior is lined with sound-absorbing and moisture-wicking mats, ensuring a quiet and dry transport environment.

Practical lid design

Designed with practicality and weather resistance in mind, the new cargo box features a dual-hinged lid system, allowing access from both the left and right sides. The lids fold over each other neatly, requiring no additional space beyond the box’s footprint.

Made from PVC truck tarpaulin with stainless steel fittings and a built-in rain gutter, the lids offer large side openings for easy loading and unloading, even in confined urban environments. The closure system is rainproof, secure, and intuitive, with a simple “push-to-lock” mechanism. The lids are also fully replaceable.

The Cargo Box 2 includes a multifunctional dashboard, providing everyday convenience for the rider. Features include:
