E-Patrols – e-bikes specially configured by LEVA-EU member Santos Bikes for medical patrols – were used by health services provider GGD Kennermerland, during the recent Bloemencorso Bollenstreek (Bollenstreek Flower Parade) in the Netherlands.

The popular annual event attracts over a million visitors lining the route of the 42km parade from Noordwijk to Haarlem. The agile E-Patrol bikes delivered to GGD Kennermerland enable ambulance bikers to travel quickly through busy inner city zones and entertainment areas, helping them to provide immediate first aid when required.

Santos Bikes announced that in the near future, E-Patrols will be used at more events to deliver speedy and efficient medical assistance.
