LEVA-EU member Nijland, the manufacturer of adaptive bicycles and tricycles, has revealed that as of May 18th, its popular Singly Air model will feature significant new upgrades, including a new MIK luggage solution and a more powerful battery to enable further travel and provide greater convenience.
Going forward, all Singly Air models will feature various improved features as standard, which have been implemented by Nijland in response to customer feedback.
- The rear basket has now been replaced with a modern rear luggage carrier which features the universal MIK system, allowing for riders to easily and securely click various compatible bags and baskets to the bike.
- A 15Ah / 530Wh battery now comes as standard, which is larger than the previous standard and optional battery choices.
- The charging point has been repositioned to a higher, more comfortable height of 57cm from the ground, allowing users to connect the charger without having to bend far down.
Nijland has also announced that they are switching to new batteries and chargers for the entire range, which are compliant with the most recent EN 50604-1 safety standard.
Prices and delivery times on the Singly Air have not been increased by the upgrades. Nijland has emphasised that the new luggage solution is specifically designed for its latest production series and cannot be retrofitted to existing Singly models with the basket configuration.
