LEVA-EU member Micro Mobility Systems has announced that its pioneering Microlino has been nominated for the renowned Design Prize Switzerland, the biennial award which seeks to offer an internationally respected seal of quality which stands for the excellence of the Swiss design industry.

The Microlino is a compact electric vehicle with room for two people, capable of achieving a top speed of 90 km/h with a range of up to 228 km. It is classified under the EU L7e vehicle category as a four-wheeled motorcycle.

In a LinkedIn post, Micro said, “Our compact electric car was designed to combine iconic aesthetics with sustainable urban mobility – and it’s an honor to see this vision recognized in such a prestigious competition.”

Public voting for the prize is open, closing on 6 October.
