Founder and CEO of LEVA-EU member Microlino, Wim Ouboter, has been recognized as one of the 25 Mobility Trailblazers in 2025 at the Smart Mobility Summit – honouring visionary leaders shaping the future of mobility across Germany, Switzerland & Austria.

The award celebrates pioneers who are boldly driving the mobility transformation forward — through innovation, creativity, and a commitment to more sustainable and efficient ways of moving.

The award was presented on October 30th at the Allianz Forum in Berlin during the Smart Mobility Summit 2025, under the patronage of Winfried Hermann, Minister of Transport of Baden-Württemberg, and a distinguished jury of leading industry experts.

In a post shared on LinkedIn, Microlino wrote, “With Micro and Microlino, Wim has always challenged conventions — from the world’s first folding kick scooter to the electric citycar Microlino redefining urban mobility. His vision has inspired an entire movement toward smarter and more sustainable mobility solutions.” Congratulations to Wim and all those honored at the event.

Microlino continues to celebrate success in Paris, as Ambassador Benedikt Wechsler has begun his four-year mandate as Switzerland’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO and the Francophonie. He will be representing Switzerland’s commitment to protecting cultural and audiovisual heritage around the world with a little help from Microlino. The special Microlino with diplomatic plates has officially completed its symbolic journey from Bern to Paris – and is now stationed in the French capital.
