Taito is a Belgian start-up that is developing innovative electric scooters for urban riders. Their main goal is to take commuters to their destination in a safer, more enjoyable and efficient manner.

The idea of TAITO started in 2019 when Jules Dobbelaere was convinced that electric scooters had a lot of potential for urban transportation but also saw a lot of room for improvement. While they are fun and versatile, they are often dangerous due to the inferior build quality and their inability to be repaired. He pitched his idea to his friend and engineer Nathan De Baets, who quickly involved François Desmet into the project to help with the product development.
