The LEVA-EU member recently offered its electric bicycles to city council officials from the municipality of Meierijstad, enabling them to connect with local residents and businesses in the Dutch area of Schijndel for the Social Work Meierijstad organisation.

On 9 April, the Dutch bicycle brand welcomed the mayor of Meierijstad, Kees van Rooij, and aldermen Menno Roozendaal and Jan Goijaarts to use its bicycles for their work.

The officials were invited to the area by Social Work Meierijstad, a local organisation which focuses on encouraging a more inclusive society, offering help to people of all ages with questions or situations which they cannot temporarily resolve on their own.

On behalf of the organisation, the mayor and aldermen travelled through Schindel on Lacros e-bikes to speak with residents and entrepreneurs.

The company was delighted to see its bicycles contributing to connection in the region, facilitating social interactions in an environmentally friendly and convenient way.
