The Schindelhauer Bikes Space has officially opened in the German capital – the first time the brand is showcasing its entire portfolio, including e-bikes powered by LEVA-EU member MAHLE, in a shop-by-shop format. More than a conventional retail store, the 700-square-metre venue has been conceived as a concept space of design, sustainability, and cycling culture coming together for a new chapter in urban mobility.
Visitors to the Schindelhauer Bikes Space can explore, configure, and test ride models including Emilia, Emil, Arthur, and Antonia — all equipped with MAHLE SmartBike Systems. The models exemplify the brand’s commitment to combining timeless design with cutting-edge electric technology.
Developed in partnership with BICICLI Cycling Solutions, the new Schindelhauer Bikes Space integrates retail, mobility consulting, and a workshop under one roof. The initiative reflects the brand’s forward-looking approach to sustainable transportation and the evolving role of physical spaces in promoting urban mobility.
“We want to get people excited about urban mobility, and the best way to do that is to let them touch the bikes, test ride them, and feel the passion behind them,” said Martin Schellhase, CEO of Schindelhauer Bikes.
Representatives from MAHLE SmartBike Systems, whose lightweight and efficient e-bike technology powers several Schindelhauer models, have highlighted the collaboration as a prime example of innovation in sustainable mobility.
Located at Friedrichstraße 67–70 in Berlin, Germany, the Schindelhauer Bikes Space invites locals and visitors alike to experience firsthand how its models, powered by MAHLE, are shaping the future of city cycling.
