In the shortlist published by Nimms Rad, 4 out of the 11 best lightweight electric bikes available in Germany are powered by the LEVA-EU member’s systems.

The shortlist, compiled by the Nimms Rad segment of the MTB-News network, reveals the top urban e-bikes under 15 kg for 2026, evaluating them on availability, integration, motor performance, battery capacity, and everyday suitability.

With four of the eleven models being equipped with MAHLE systems, the brand says that it is a great recognition of brands continuing to choose MAHLE systems due to the lightweight, refined integration, and natural, intuitive riding feel they provide.

The highlighted e-bike models are Desiknio Dopamine, Stevens E-Strada 8.3.4 FEQ, Urwahn Stadtfuchs, all equipped with MAHLE X20 systems, as well as the Rose Sneak+, which boasts the MAHLE X35 system.

As its systems continue to evolve to support e-bike brands that demand efficiency, riding quality, and clean design, the company aims to keep empowering them with its lightweight, refined, and fully integrated electric bike drive systems.
