As demand for their product continues to grow, they are now looking for a proactive and strategic Supply Chain and Sourcing Specialist to help scale operations and ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Supply Chain and Sourcing Specialist, you will ensure an efficient procurement process and secure the timely delivery of over 500 components per unit while maintaining high quality. You will also develop and optimize sourcing, supply, and logistics systems, ensuring streamlined and reliable operations.

A significant part of your role will be working closely with suppliers to establish and maintain long-term, stable partnerships, particularly with manufacturers in Germany, Norway, China, and Turkey. You will also be tasked with identifying smart and cost-effective tools to optimize purchasing and supply chain flows.

You will analyze current processes, propose improvements, and implement new solutions while managing change effectively. The role requires resilience, problem-solving, and maintaining a structured approach even in demanding situations.

Additionally, we need someone familiar with the customs process related to component flow between the EEA and EU, as well as between China/third countries and the EU. You will also be responsible for monitoring any customs changes within the EU and keeping track of regulatory updates related to dangerous goods shipments.

Your primary goal is to ensure the right products are in the right place, at the right time, in the right volume, and at the right price.

The product consists of 500+ components from various suppliers, adding complexity.
A growing demand requires a well-structured and efficient supply chain.
Coordination with a diverse supplier network across Europe and beyond is essential.
Costs must be optimized to align with market growth and ensure profitability.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with at least five years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management. You should have a strong understanding of supply chain systems and software and be comfortable working with digital tools like Google Docs.

You thrive in dynamic environments, are a strong relationship builder, and can navigate change with confidence and resilience. A structured and detail-oriented mindset is essential, and you must be a finisher who takes full ownership of responsibilities. Fluency in English is required, but Norwegian is not necessary for this role.

Your Focus Areas

  • Supply Chain Management: Overseeing the full value chain, demand forecasting, inventory management, production scheduling, transportation, and optimizing distribution networks. Coordinating logistics to align with market and client needs.
  • Sourcing & Procurement: Evaluating supplier capacity, negotiating contracts and pricing, and maintaining supplier relationships to secure cost-effective and high-quality production.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing efficient systems to improve supply chain flows and reduce costs, ensuring the business stays ahead of market demands.
  • Customs & Regulations: Ensuring compliance with customs processes for EEA, EU, and third-country shipments, as well as staying updated on EU regulations regarding dangerous goods shipments.
