Description

This role is based on-site in Tempe, AZ

We are looking for a friendly, motivated mountain bike rider/enthusiast who would like to join our Purchasing and Operations team. This person will assist the Purchasing Manager in planning, forecasting and purchasing components and consumables for production as well as the creation and maintenance of part numbers and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global assembly vendors
• Manage purchasing and operational workflows within the Dynamics GP ERP system
• Monitor and maintain global inventory levels based on sales and production forecasts
• Coordinate intercompany inventory transfers across global locations
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency
• Prioritize and support cross-functional departmental needs while balancing competing requests
• Maintain and develop vendor relationships as assigned, ensuring alignment with business goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role
• Strong knowledge of bicycle components, frames and related technical specifications and compatibilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; reasonable accommodations will be made as needed
