Reports to: Commercial Head Iberia

Description

Segway-Ninebot Europe recently expanded their organization with opening branches in Spain, France and Germany. Segway Europe sells luxury electronic transportation goods under the brands Segway and Ninebot by Segway for the B2B as well as the consumer market. Ninebot is a privately held company headquartered in Beijing, China. The company focuses on the research and development, design, manufacturing, distribution and sales of short-distance transportation products. The ultimate goal is to promote the evolution of our products to become the world’s leading provider of mobile robotics solutions.

General Description

You actively start and maintain your relationships and you are creative in working in the retailer market in the assigned area. Your goal is to achieve the stated market share in your area. You achieve this by providing your dealers with expert advice on the product range and by providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being the ambassador of our brands and our company to the retailer stores
  • Open relationships and build them towards a sustainable relationship
  • Ensure and maximize our in store visibility at assigned retailer stores, by aligning with the national strategy ranging and installing merchandising materials
  • Visit store and improve our visibility
  • Do in store promotion during peak seasons
  • Negotiate extra ranging and visibility
  • Benchmark with competitors
  • Train and motivate the clerks on our products
  • Work independently and take responsibility. Organize your week independently (on average 4-5 visits per day, 4 days per week)
  • Plans, leads and manages all aspects of sales execution for the assigned region
  • Prospect local dealers
  • Report to the commercial head and key account manager all the visits and the actions to be taken on national level
  • Identifying and reporting market development
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, collecting product, packaging, and service requirements from the market; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
  • Sells new items, promotions and other sales initiatives to dealer network
  • Devise, set up and implement commercial activities
  • Participates in internal sales meetings, and any other events as appropriate (e.g. exhibitions during weekends)
  • Communicates “voice of customer” into the wider organization
  • Likes to travel, on the road for 75% of your time

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree (HBO) from a college/university in Business or related field required.
  • 2-5 years of B2B2C sales experience in consumer electronics as sales representative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Challenging with the ability to go the extra mile
  • Strong analytical & computer skills; Excel & PowerPoint are a MUST
  • Ability to interact with both external and internal customers at all levels and with different cultures
  • Sense of negotiation and customer relationships to allow you to express your talents
  • Autonomy and sense of organization and your rigor (particular to do weekly reports) will be a real asset
