We are looking for you in TECHNICAL PURCHASING BIKE & COMPONENTS at our headquarters in Oberwangen, effective immediately or by arrangement

Your tasks:

  • Budget monitoring: Monitoring and controlling the purchasing budget to ensure that costs remain within limits and the company remains profitable
  • Invoice verification and approval: Responsible for the careful review of supplier invoices and their timely approval to ensure a smooth payment process
  • Supplier management: Leading role in supplier selection to ensure efficient and transparent cooperation
  • Technical understanding: Intensive examination of the technical properties of the ordered products or product groups in order to make well-founded decisions and meet the requirements of the company
  • Price and delivery conditions management: Systematic recording, review and regular renegotiation of prices and delivery conditions in order to maximize competitiveness and profitability
  • Supplier development: Leading role in defining new suppliers and introducing new products, including proactive representation within the company
  • Interface to the R&D department and participation in project meetings and the quality control committee

Your profile:

  • Experience in international purchasing with industrial relevance
  • Completed basic technical training with commercial training and/or studies in related fields 
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Experience in budget planning, scheduling and resource management 
  • In-depth knowledge of the Asian markets and supplier network is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid IT knowledge (MS Office and ERP)
  • Experience with logistics and warehouse optimization is an advantage
  • Enjoyment of sustainable mobility and high affinity for e-bikes 
  • Good understanding of parts & components, good technical understanding
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
