Your role as a Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Van Raam, you will help improve and maintain product designs, 3D models and 2D drawings. You will ensure the quality of drawings and keep them up-to-date. You will work in a team on various projects in which the lead engineer is the most important sparring partner. In the various projects, you will collect information to work efficiently and to take care of your own daily planning. There is certainly room to grow in this position.

You will be joining a team of 15 people. The team will happily play a game of ping-pong with you during your break to get your creativity flowing again. There is also always room to brainstorm about technical issues you may encounter.

What we ask of you

• At least an MBO education in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering;
• At least a few years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience with various production techniques, materials and applicable standards;
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and a PLM system;
• An affinity with 3D printing is an advantage;
• Energetic, accurate, practical and motivated;
• Skilled in technical drawing;
• An affinity with consumer products is an advantage;
• A go-getter who doesn’t shy away from a challenge.
