Job description
As a logistics engineer, you are responsible for analyzing, optimizing and implementing our logistics processes. You work closely with supply chain and the warehouse to ensure that our inventory management and distribution processes run smoothly. You report to the supply chain manager. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Setting up and analyzing our goods flows;
• Aligning our inbound and outbound with regard to our production planning;
• Implementation of an efficient warehouse layout;
• Leading projects focused on automation and digitalization;
• Monitoring and implementation of new customs legislation
• Maintaining relationships with our logistics partners;
• Training and supporting warehouse employees

Who are you?

We are looking for a logistics engineer with a sharp analytical ability, excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented approach. You have the drive to actively contribute to the growth of our company and show initiative in setting up and executing improvement projects.

In addition, you can identify with the following characteristics:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in logistics, supply chain or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a production environment.
• You are skilled in identifying bottlenecks and developing efficient working methods and process optimizations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office (Excel).
