General Description

Are you a real team player with hands-on mentality and like to work in an international environment? Are you pro-active and have good communication skills? Then you might be the Junior Marketing-Communication Specialist we are looking for!

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Communication Specialist to join our European Marketing Communication team at Segway Europe. In this role, you will report directly to the Senior Marketing Communications & PR Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping Segway’s European marketing messaging.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Marketing:

  • Website Management & Content Updates: Assist in updating and maintaining website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Direct Mailing Campaigns: Manage and execute direct mailing projects, ensuring timely and targeted communication with the audience
  • Asset Localization: Adapt global marketing materials to regional markets, including translations and cultural adjustments
  • PR & Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and compile reports on PR activities
  • Digital Advertising: Assist in the creation of digital advertising assets in corporation with external agencies
  • Support in Event organisation

Trade Marketing:

  • Retail Communication Templates: Create marketing materials such as banners and enriched product images for retailers
  • Product Guidelines & Comparison Sheets creation for retailers’ online stores to unsure we have the right messaging at our retail partners
  • Retail Online Content Management: ensure good implementation of our product guideline and assets across our key retail partners
  • Adapt POSM materials for the European market and manage their implementation on the digital asset management platform
  • Monthly Newsletter Coordination: Gather and coordinate content from different countries for the newsletter

Other Responsibilities:

  • Documentation & Reporting: track project timelines, and prepare regular reports on marketing activities
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the country marketers in Europe, agencies, and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional English proficiency required; additional European languages preferred.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and website management.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable, team-oriented, and creative thinker.
  • High sense of responsibility with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
