We’re looking for a HW and Systems Engineer who wants to be part of our Electrical Engineering Team and thereby a fast-growing cleantech company shaping the future of electrification.
Who we are
Cleantron engineers and produces Lithium-ion batteries in Nieuw-Vennep, located close to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our advanced batteries are used in many different applications such as light EV’s, Electric Construction / Agri Equipment and all kinds of Industrial Equipment. We aim to deliver worldclass products and services to mid-sized global OEM customers, against competitive prices.
What you will do
As HW and Systems Engineer you will be developing BMS HW designs according to the V-model. This will be done together with our engineering teams: hardware, firmware, QA.
This means that you will perform the following tasks:
- Design the battery management systems from ground up, ensuring product quality and reliability.
- Work on launching new hardware prototypes.
- Conduct thorough analysis, calculations and modeling to ensure optimal design and efficiency.
- Set-up the validation and test program on battery level
- Support a good system integration in the application
- Plan and organize external compliance testing.
What you bring
You’re good in designing complex systems.
You have a true engineering mindset: curious, detail-oriented.
As our Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Cleantron’s battery management systems development, solving complex hardware/software challenges and making sure every product meets our high quality standards.
Must-have
- Relevant technical degree in Electrical, Embedded or other related field.
- Experience in systems engineering, schematic design or related field.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture: microcontrollers, peripherals, and how it all connects.
- Understanding of power electronics design.
- Analytical mindset for root cause analysis and problem-solving in complex environments.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of designing for EMC compliance.
- Experience with STM32 microcontrollers or similar embedded platforms.
- Experience with electronics certification.
