Finance/HR specialist Bond – Hasselt (BE)

To do that, we have the most committed, collaborative and ambitious team and are now looking for an experienced Finance/HR specialist to strengthen our Finance & Human Resources Department.

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you’ll oversee the financial department and support the Human Resources department in the implementation of HR processes and policies. You’ll be reporting to the VP Finance and Head of People.

  • You monitor day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing and other transactions;
  • You are the single point of contact for external business partners (e.g. accountants) and other authorities (tax, banks, etc…);
  • You track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for improvement;
  • You research and analyse financial reports;
  • You provide insightful information and expectations to support senior management decision making;
  • You review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports;
  • You establish and maintain financial policies and procedures;
  • You understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation;
  • You offer support on HR related processes, update payroll and benefit information in existing HR tools; run monthly reports, etc.;
  • You assist in the hiring process by coordinating job postings, screening applications and resumes and organizing telephone and f2f interviews;
  • You actively search for suitable candidates through various recruitment channels and social media;
  • You take initiative to continuously improve HR/Finance/Admin processes;
  • You support with day to day general administration

Your qualifications and experience

  • You have a bachelor/master’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources and/or Accounting with relevant work experience in both fields;
  • You have strong communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • You are convincing and have a solid understanding of people;
  • Interview techniques are no secret to you and you know the common recruitment channels;
  • You value discretion, work precisely, structured and in an efficient manner;
  • You are empathetic, flexible and have strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • You are a problem solver;
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
