We are looking for you in Oberwangen near Bern, now or by appointment, as a communication manager.

Your tasks:

  • Developing and implementing communication strategies: creating and implementing integrated communication plans that match Stromer’s brand vision and ensure consistent communication across all platforms (digital, print, PR, etc.).
  • Create brand messages and content: You manage the creation of compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and product messages that highlight Stromer’s innovative product offering.
  • Media relations: Building and maintaining close relationships with journalists, multipliers and important industry representatives to increase the visibility of the brand and effectively process press inquiries.
  • Managing media test bikes: Oversee the allocation and management of media test bikes for journalists and influencers, coordinate the logistics, ensure timely delivery and track feedback and reporting.
  • External PR agencies lead: management and management of all external PR agencies, ensuring the alignment with Stromer’s brand strategy, monitoring the implementation of campaigns and promoting media coverage to improve brand call.
  • Internal communication: Create an exciting and engaging internal communication strategy to ensure uniform internal communication and effective collaboration between teams.
  • Crisis Communication: Development and implementation of crisis communication strategies to protect and improve the brand’s reputation in difficult situations.
  • Submission of awards: Preparation and submission of applications for relevant industry awards, management of all aspects of the process, from logistics to communication. Ensuring post-profit communication to maximize attention and strengthen the brand management of Stromer.
  • Reporting and Analysis : Monitor and analyze communication measures, measure their effectiveness and suggest improvements to optimize reach and impact.
  • Consumer, market and brand studies: Carry out consumer and market studies to gain insights into industry trends, competitors’ positioning and brand perception (e.g. B. NPS, brand awareness etc.). Analyze and interpret data to optimize communication strategies and brand messages.

Your profile:

  • Education: Completed training and/or studies in the areas of marketing, communication, public relations, business administration
  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in the fields of communication, public relations and marketing, ideally in the areas of consumer goods, lifestyle, automobile or e-mobility. Experience in the management of high-end brands is a plus.
  • Experience in leading communication strategies and campaigns, ensuring media coverage, maintaining relationships with the press and conducting initiatives in social media and digital marketing. The successful management of external PR agencies is very desirable.
  • Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the e-bike or bicycle industry or a strong personal interest in sustainable transport is an advantage. A general understanding of market dynamics, trends and factors influencing the areas of mobility and technology would be beneficial.
  • Strong skills in writing and telling stories: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create compelling content for different formats, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and marketing materials. Ability to create engaging stories that match the premium brand image of Stromer.
  • Expertise in media and public relations: Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, media representatives and multipliers. Strong skills in writing press releases and media talks. Ability to use media relationships to maximize brand presence.
  • Project management: Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to cope with several priorities, deadlines and cross-functional cooperation simultaneously. Experience in the management of major events, product launches and trade fair participation is an increase.
  • A mixture of creative thinking and strategic planning. They should be able to think outside the box, while understanding the importance of reconciling communication efforts with corporate goals and brand positioning.
  • Flowing mastery of the German and English languages is essential. The mastery of other languages (French, Dutch, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Team skills, flexibility, self-employment and accuracy coupled with passion, creativity and a passion for e-bikes and mobility.
