Business Development Lead at VROEGH Design.

VROEGH Design is looking for a Business Development Lead to join us in the next phase of the studio.

We develop innovation and products for a changing world. We help OEMs and ambitious brands create better products, strengthen their market position and move their industries forward. At the same time, we believe new products, systems and vehicle form factors need to be developed for the changing reality of users, cities and everyday life.

Our work focuses on product development in mobility, autonomous mobility, robotics and electrification. We work on complex development challenges where user needs, technical reality and future context need to come together. A key part of our approach is understanding the real user, use case and context, and making the right development choices based on that. This is how we help create better aligned and better optimised products.

We are looking for someone who can bring in the right work, represent VD well and understand what clients actually need. This role covers both new business and growth within existing accounts across the Benelux and Germany.

What you will do

Bring in new client opportunities that fit VD well.
Grow existing client relationships.
Lead commercial conversations with senior clients and partners.
Help shape proposals and turn client needs into strong project opportunities.
Strengthen the commercial side of the studio with focus and quality.

What you bring

You have built experience in a leading creative, development or consultancy environment and know what strong business development looks like at a high level. You have a proven commercial track record, strong energy, independence and the confidence to lead conversations with senior clients.

You are experienced in selling high value tailored services, where each client needs a sharp and specific approach. You know how to sell complex services in a clear and credible way. A background in mobility, robotics, electrification or related sectors would be a strong advantage.

You are proactive, sharp in conversations and good at understanding what is really going on with a client. You know how to turn opportunity into concrete work. You are entrepreneurial, self starting and comfortable in a small ambitious team with high potential.

Practical

English is required. Dutch is preferred. German is a plus.
The role is open from 4 days per week. Hybrid working is possible. Freelance is not excluded, but we are mainly looking for the right long term fit.
