LEVA-EU member ICE Trikes completed a busy weekend of exhibiting, engaging with visitors and partaking in panel discussions at the National Cycling Show in Birmingham in March.
The recumbent trike specialists completed a successful weekend exhibiting at the National Cycling Show at the NEC Birmingham, UK, last month, exhibiting their wide range of trikes and speaking to people and organisations about accessible cycling options.
On the ICE Trikes stand was a diverse selection of cycle models, including the record-breaking ICE VTX trike (disabled Marine Corps veteran Michael Ricci recently broke six new World Records riding his VTX through Death Valley in California, USA). Back at the NEC, the legendary British cycling champion Ed Clancy OBE tried the ICE VTX himself.
ICE Trikes closed out the weekend by taking centre stage in a panel discussion on the theme of ‘Wheels of Change’ with charity Wheels for All, alongside fellow LEVA-EU member Van Raam, to discuss the benefits of ICE trikes and how accessible cycling can improve people’s lives.
ICE Trikes wrote in a social media post: “We love to meet people and connect with new cyclists and organisations who for many, have never seen our trikes or knew that trikes were an option for them.”
