The 2026 edition of Eurobike will feature a range of expert events, panel discussions and practical workshops around the topic of cargo bikes and adaptive cycles, in light of growing demand for more inclusive sustainable transport and effective logistics solutions.

On 25 June, the Vision Mobility ThinkTank will explore the opportunities and limitations of commercial cargo bikes, and in particular their suitability for efficient operations in urban logistics. The panel discussion will feature various stakeholders from the industry, politics and professional associations, examining cargo bikes’ significant potential as profitable and reliable business assets, as well as being a sustainable transport option.

Also scheduled for 25 June is a session focused on adaptive cycles: Comfort and safety for every situation—tricycles are breaking out of their niche! This presentation will look at how the cycle industry is supporting the growing segment of those who would love to ride a bike, but cannot, or are no longer able to, ride safely on standard two-wheelers. With many in this segment being viewed as “silver surfers” or fit seniors, they share a common desire for personal transport that’s relaxed, safe and is good for their health – such as electric trikes with a high comfort factor.

On 26 June, a new B2B format, Beyond Bicycle, takes place, which will focus on bicycle concepts beyond the classic two-wheeler format. The topics include cargo bikes and trailers for both private and commercial use, recumbent bikes, tandems and specialised bikes for people with limited mobility.

On each day of Eurobike, the Urban Test Area will feature a range of models, including cargo bikes and micro electric vehicles, enabling visitors to experience urban mobility in realistic settings, with the opportunity to try typical tasks such as parking, loading and unloading, and tight turns. Registration in advance is advised to avoid queues on arrival.
