Jean-Luc Crucke, Belgium’s Minister for Mobility, Climate and Environmental Transition, together with Camille Maitrejean, Mayor of Florenville, recently visited the LEVA-EU member’s headquarters. The delegation was welcomed by company representatives Arnaud Legrand, Bram Van Aken, Tom Lauwers, and Kenny Latomme.

Focus on electric scooter legislation

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on evolving legislation regarding electric scooters, with particular attention to traffic regulations and taxation. Discussions centered on how policy can support the safe and sustainable integration of micromobility solutions into Belgium’s transport landscape.

Insights into AMPYRE’s Vision

During the visit, Minister Crucke was introduced to AMPYRE’s philosophy, current product range, and future developments. The Minister tested the company’s flagship model, the AMPYRE Arrow, gaining firsthand experience of its design and performance.
